Welcome to My Graphic Design Portfolio!
As a communications student passionate about visual storytelling, I've developed a diverse skill set in graphic design, focusing on creating impactful, visually engaging pieces. Here, you'll find some of my favorite projects, including a custom-designed postage stamp that blends artistic flair with functional design, and a sports card that captures the spirit and energy of the game. I also showcase my strengths in advertising flyer design and illustration, where I bring ideas to life through creative layouts, eye-catching visuals, and polished editing. Dive in and explore how I turn concepts into captivating designs!
The postage stamp represents family values and my origins as a Venezuelan. For this project, I had to seek inspiration from a family member who left a legacy. Hermenegildo was my husband's maternal grandfather and I was inspired by him for this creation. The illustrated image reflects a friendly and familiar icon. The most important thing of all was to maintain the details of a postage stamp such as the border, the location and the monetary value it represents (all these details are noticeable in the image without detracting from the importance of the design in general).
The sports flyer is a representation of the sporting spirit. After searching for poses of my favorite soccer players, I managed to find these images and create a sports card where I used texture, gradient and superposition techniques, in addition to a perfect balance between written information and images; elementary techniques when making an advertising image or announcement.
